The Conneaut Public Library has free Wifi in the library to be used with your personal devices, as well as Chromebook laptops to be used while inside the library.
Wireless Hotspot Circulation Procedure
The Conneaut Public library is pleased to offer wireless hotspot devices for loan to library patrons.
Device should automatically recognize the wireless network. Password is required and may be found within the Hotspot main menu.
Loan period: 2 weeks, no renewal. The hotspot wireless service will be terminated if it is not returned on the due date.
Wireless hotspots are available for Conneaut Public Library card holders.
Limit: 1 wireless hotspot per household
Hotspots are popular items. Upon return of a wireless hotspot, patrons must wait 24 hours before checking out another to ensure other patrons have a chance to borrow them. Hotspots are checked out on a first-come first-served basis and may not be placed on hold.
Do not place wireless hotspots in book drop, return to circulation desk.
Patrons are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the wireless hotspot while it is checked out to them.

Wireless Hotspot Borrowing Agreement
Checking out a wireless hotspot from the Conneaut Public Library is assuming responsibility for any damage, loss or theft of the device while it is checked out. Patron will be responsible for the entire replacement cost of the wireless hotspot, the cables, outlet plug and travel case up to (total $200.00). Understand and acknowledge that the Internet contains information, both written and pictorial, which may be offensive or harmful to me or to others. The Library is released from all liabilities associated with viewing of, use of, or exposure to any information. Do not violate any state or federal statute including those regarding obscenity, pornography, or delivery to minors’ material deemed harmful to them. Understand and accept that failure to comply with Library policies and procedures will result in Library penalties that range from suspension of Internet privileges to permanent eviction from the Library.
