Peep Display Contest!

Families, individuals, couples, and all will be welcome to participate in a contest coming to the Conneaut Public Library in March. The DIY Family Peep Display Contest is back! Participants will create a room, character, movie scene, or other diorama of their own creation using marshmallow peeps and other candies.

Displays are to be dropped off in the Youth Department the week of March 20th, with public voting happening during Conneaut Spring Break (March 27th-31st) during library hours – Monday-Thursday 9AM-7PM and Friday 9AM-5PM.

Book Clubs

The Library has several different adult book clubs! Each club meets once per month, and anyone can join in. There are two traditional book clubs: The Brown Baggers, and The 2nd Friday Book Club. Brown Baggers meet on a Tuesday, you can visit our calendar to see specific dates. The 2nd Friday Book Club meets, you guessed it, on the 2nd Friday of every month. There's also the BYOB "Bring Your Own Book" Club, in which everyone chooses their own book to discuss. You can email Cindy.Prather@conneaut.lib.oh.us for more information!

Escape from Candyland!

We are excited to announce our fifth Escape Room starting on Tuesday, March 28th and ending Friday, March 31st. “Escape from Candy Land” is filled with candy themed obstacles, puzzles, and clues perfect for all ages! The Conneaut Public Library recommends groups of 4 or more to take on the challenge. The cost for this escape room is $5 per person, with all proceeds benefitting the Conneaut Public Library’s Youth Department.

“Escape from Candy Land” will run March 28th-31st (Tuesday-Friday) with various times (10:00am-5:30pm) for 30 minute increments.
